- Sticky Notes
- ActiveWords Pro (with InkPad)
- Outlook (ink email)
- OneNote
- MindManager Pro
- JVC Gantt 2
- PowerPoint
- Journal
- Ink Art (Experience Pack)
- Internet Explorer
- Send to OneNote 2003 (Education Pack)
- InkGestures
Special thanks for the music in this podcast:

Cool, James! I have heard of using Camtasia, but have never seen it done. Thanks for demoing MindManager--and for some new tunes!

Great! Like many of us I'm always trying to figure out how to best demo the Tablet for my friends...many of whom just think I'm a hopeless geek. This is an outstanding tool just to demo!

Can't play back video with Windows Media Player for Mac. States that the "CODEC" cannot be used....Can you make MP4 or MPEG2 ?

i liked the demo but thought it would have been better w/ voice, with you talking about what you're doing instead of background music

Great demo and proof that you don't need good handwriting to use a tablet PC :-) One question, why doesn't the iTunes feed include the video podcasts?
Posted by: Keith Dishman | February 12, 2006 at 04:06 PM
iTunes will not play Windows Media format files so it does not pick them up. Someday when I have time I will look into creating an iTunes compatible version of the file too. It is not straightforward so I haven't been able to do it yet.

Dude, Great idea (downloading it now). Can't wait to look at it.
Don't know if it would work but have you considered doing the demo but include the Cam studio feature of having a camera (webcam) picture-in-pictured on the screen pointed in a way that you could shows what your writing on the screen? Not sure if that would be interesting but might be worth an experiment.

tried to play this on my treo 700w but all I got was audio. Does WMP10 not support WMV9 video? What am I missing?
cheers,
John

Fujitsu has a very small, very portable tablet (P1510) whose screen is described as 8.9 inches (diagonally, I assume). How would those of you that work on tablets adjust to a smaller screen? I wonder if a small screen would hurt a tablet's productivity. All the features necessary for navigation and program control might become too small and the active area for handwriting, viewing info, etc., end up too small for productive work.
I am considering a tablet to help me manage the fast pace of my work as an elementary school classroom teacher. Right now I use InfoSelect but I will consider trying OneNote for next year's class.
Let us know what you think about screen size.

I only get audio music when I download this file?

If anybody is trying to use a Mac to view this file, you will unfortunately only have audio. the reason for this is the Flip4Mac plugin for quicktime does not yet support the MSS2 codec. No other options exist at this time for viewing this type of video on a Mac, short of running in a Windows environment (Virtual PC, Parallels, Boot Camp, other Windows PC)
