River of views keeps flowing: FlickrFan adds AFP wire photos
Over the weekend, I had the opportunity to test another source of great photos for Dave Winer's FlickrFan application. Dave just pinged me to say that all FlickrFan users will get the new feed at the top of the hour, which is in roughly 30 minutes. I've been enjoying the AP wire photos both on my stationary MacBook Pro as well as viewing them on-the-go by configuring them to synch with my iPhone. The newest feed is from the AFP, or Agence France-Presse, and it's been interesting to see the different perspective it provides over the AP photos. I won't elaborate on that to jade your opinion; you'll have to experience them for yourself to see if you agree or not.
If you're already using FlickrFan, there's nothing new you need to do; Dave released an update that will offer you the new feed and newly available pics are pulled at the top of the hour. If you're not using FlickrFan (Mac only), you'll want to check out this use of RSS that delivers the world in pictures to you. Thanks Dave!

VERY cool. Sad for us XP people. If anyone finds a similar XP app...let us know !!!
