phling! streams your music to your phone... from Amazon's servers

Here's an interesting approach to mobile music from Oxy Systems. They've added a new feature to their phling! service so that you can listen to music on a home PC without the PC being on. OK, technically, they're sending you music from Amazon's Web Services, which is essentially hosting a duplicate copy of the music on your home PC.

Up to now, you could only use phling! to access files, data, and digital content on your home computer which of course, required that PC to always be powered up. The new MusicStash feature offers up web space for you to store digital copies of tunes that are accessible on the road. You'll need a supported phone, which at this time looks to be mainly Nokia and Sony Ericsson devices. Near as I can tell, there is a cost involved with phling! based on their partnership with your carrier.
