Microsoft bids on Yahoo at last

 

Ms_logo_3 Yahoo_logo_4 It has been kicking around the rumor mill for years and today an official announcement indicates that Microsoft has bid almost 45 billion dollars in stock and cash to acquire Yahoo.  This bid comes after Yahoo has indicated they must lay off some employees due to low profits and it will certainly be interesting to see these two giants merge to fight the Google juggernaut.
