OK, that is pretty freaky. Are those real keys or is it like the "buttons" on the controls in ST:TNG -- flat surface?

There are two square keypads on the unit and they move as if they were on a small spring. Think of them as a two giant keyboard keys. You have to hit a button to switch from mouse mode to keyboard mode; looks interesting, but I'm not sure how usable yet. One nice thing: the screen is set up for panning so it's as if you have a 10-inch screen on a 7-inch display. When in mouse mode with the two giant keypads, the screen pans. Slick implementation...
