jkOnTheRun video- advance look at Verizon Voyager
The Verizon Voyager is the hotly anticipated phone that will be available next week and thanks to the folks at Verizon I've got one in my hot little hands. I had to share the love in this advance look video that shows the device and all its features for your enjoyment. The Voyager has a big touch screen on the front that has tactile feedback when buttons are pressed that makes using the touch capability much nicer. Open the clamshell and there's a second screen the same size inside along with a great QWERTY keyboard for texting and email. In the video I tried to give a good feel for how the web browser works on the Voyager as it is a full HTML browser that works quite well with the touch screen and the keyboard. Take a look at the video and see if you agree with me that Verizon has a nice offering coming out soon.

Is there any way to make the Voyager work with ActiveSync? WirelessSync won't sync my Outlook and our IT guy won't go to a phone that doesn't use ActiveSync.
Thanks.

Ben, ActiveSync only supports Windows Mobile devices, which the Verizon Voyager isn't based upon. You won't be able to sync it to Outlook with ActiveSync unfortunately.

I like it.
This device should have the following added to it.
1. AM/FM Radio
2. Larger screen or a add on device with a magnifying device to search the web.
3. Solar power to charge battery

I have the phone and it's real kewl. Do not buy this phone though if you like to listen to loud music. It is also really difficult to put Itunes music on it, and it does not come with the 2.5 mm headphones. The Mobil Tv on it is great and so far has 8 channels. And the browser is as internet freindly as the Iphones, except for the fact that you cant download software from the internet and you can't view videos from the internet (such as Youtube). I am sure though that they will fix the video viewing problems.

I love my Voyager. I got it 4 days ago. I use AOL Calender and using the web I can access it. No need for sync. I updated my contacts using Verizon Backup Assistant which I had with my old phone anyway. AIM works fine for instant messaging. Mobile TV is cool. I just downloaded Mobile Banking and I am impressed. I got the LG Bluetooth stereo headset and it has unbelievable music sound for a phone!!I couldn't get it to sync with either the Mobile Music Manager or Windows Media Player V11. I bought a Micro SD card and loaded up mp3's and PIC's using the USB Mass Storage method.
I would like to use the music sync, just cuz it's there, but it keeps wanting me to install drivers from the disc over and over again even after its loaded??? Verizon Support was useless. Any suggestions?
Overall, so far, I am not at all sorry I bought it.
