Unboxing the HP 2710p video

It finally arrived this morning and I shot a brief video of the unboxing experience.  The HP 2710p Tablet PC is so thin and light, something you'll really appreciate on this video.  I also give you a brief look at the ultra-slim battery and the ultra-slim expansion base.  Enjoy the video and there will be more coming soon.  I'm building this bad boy right now.  :)

Thanks for the video.
Wait.. did I miss something? Notebook PC? What happened to Tablet PC?

The battery slice and dock are nifty. Especially since you can use the dock on battery power. Then when plugged in, use it to charge the slice battery. Very neat. WWAN option definitely a plus.

Nice unboxning, I can't wait to get one of thoose myself!

See, I told you the time would fly.

I gotta say, I was just as surprised as you seem to be when I got my laptop in the mail a few months ago. It's just a regular 14.1 in. Gateway laptop (weighs about 4.5 lbs), but I do believe the box it came in is even smaller than the one you just got. I ripped it open as soon as I got it just to make sure the laptop was still in one piece. I couldn't believe it had been shipped in such a small box -- internationally! Fortunately, everything was fine.

Really good video. Looks like a great product, and I enjoyed your enthusiasm for it.

Look forward to further reports.

I will be following today (hopefully) with a detailed description of the process to build it up with my programs and data. It was "my" system by early evening yesterday, just hours after receiving it.

Watching, wishing I could do the same...

I have a HP 2710p and a HP Mobile workstation on order for work. Today all the accessories arrived (docking station, battery, extra ram etc) but the machines are still a couple of weeks away!?

Wahoo! Our HP2710 finally arrived. Just getting it up & running but it's impressed so far. HP have lifted their game compared to the last machine I saw from them!

I own this machine. It is a joy to use. The docking station gives you a one click experience. I would not trade this machine for any other laptop. Buy it and you won't regret it.
