Alltel offers WiFi plan through Boingo, $9.99 a month for unlimited WiFi

Logo_alltel It's easy to inadvertently forget about Alltel, the smaller CDMA wireless company that sometimes gets lost behind Verizon Wireless and Sprint. Today, the company provides us a reminder that they're still around and offering some good mobile tech value. Through a partnership with Boingo Wireless, Alltel is now offering WiFi plans good at thousands of U.S. locations nationwide. You can snag a WiFi day pass for $9.99 or a weekly pass for $19.99. If you have their EV-DO service, you can bundle the WiFi access with the Alltel Wireless Internet plan for as little as $9.99 per month, which is a great bargain. I've had the same type of plan with T-Mobile and I looked at it with AT&T: both of their unlimited WiFi with a data plan was $19.95 at the time.
