Solio H1000 is a hybrid charger, solar or electric

Solioh1000 You won't be running a laptop off of the Solio H1000, but it could be quite useful for a phone or MP3 player. The H1000 is a hybrid power pack: it has a solar panel for harnessing the sun's energy but can also be plugged in for those rainy days. Inside is a 3.7V, 1000 mAh rechargeable Lithium Ion battery for storing some juice. The Solio H1000 can output between 1.5 to 5 Watts for you device using the included tips: USB, mini-USB and Nokia-compatible.

Shipping on October 15th at $79.95, it might be more useful to purchase a second battery for your phone, but if you have room to leave this out often, the H1000 could be worthwhile as a backup power source. At 198 x 68 x 18 mm it could be a nice carry along.
