I just got a 50% raise thanks to Excel

Logo_excel Today is my last day here at jkOTR as I'm taking a new position effective immediately. I don't even know what the new job is: it didn't matter to me. What mattered of course was the money (that's why I became a full time blogger in the first place don't you know) and it took me weeks to find a job that payed EXACTLY what I wanted, which was $65,535. Interviewers thought I was crazy when I told them my only job requirement was to make that EXACT salary... well, that and that they had to run payroll off of Microsoft Excel 2007. Now that I've found that job, my ACTUAL salary is in six figures: $100,000 on the dot. Well, at least until the Excel bug is fixed. So long and thanks for all the fish...

(Update: just after this post went live, my new employer realized my approach and I've promptly been fired. Since I never turned in an official resignation to James, I've decided to stay put. Sorry for the interruption.)

>>>So long and thanks for all the fish...

I want my fish back, dammit! Plus, where's that Foleo you promised?! Eh? Eh?

Kwon, I hoping that this continues to be my main job for a long time.
Jotaere, I was joking about the very real Excel bug out there.
Mike, your Foleo is swimming with the fishes. I know I promised you one, but Hawkins promised first.
