AirPort Extreme router and Blame JK: well worth my money

Appleairportextremerouter

I'm thrilled that was an early adopter of the "Blame JK" program as I'm already getting my money's worth. I've had some issues trying to print at home from my MacBook Pro using a Linksys USB Print Server that hangs off of my Linksys router and I've given up on trying to solve the problem after several weeks. The answer was just to "Blame JK" and order an Apple AirPort Extreme Base Station 802.11n router. I'm rolling the dice with the Apple refurb program again and saved $40 by doing so: the $179 router cost me $139 and included free shipping.

I'll be swapping out two Linksys routers for the one AirPort, which nets me some power savings as well as freeing up another two outlets in my home office since the USB Print Server goes bye-bye as well. The AirPort Extreme will handle my USB printer directly and both the Mac and my Windows machines (via Bonjour) will be able to print to it. I was going to tell Barb to expect a box from UPS later this week, but thanks to my investment in the "Blame JK" premium package, I'm sure she'll be receiving her call from James shortly.

Oy! Is there AppleCare for that, so you can Blame Steve Jobs too?
