Commodore 200: DAP with OLED and WiFi

Commodore_c200 I might buy one of these Commodore 200 digital audio players just for the nostalgia; the C64 is collecting dust in the basement but every few weeks it catches my eye. *sniff* Yes, Commodore is back and not just in the PC industry (they offer gaming PCs now) but for the digital audio market as well. The 200 is a small flash-based player with 1- or 2-GB of storage, 1.8-inch OLED screen and WiFi. I'm not sure what the WiFi is for because I can't find the product specs on the Commodore site, but it appears to connect to other Commodore home audio/video products from what I can gather. At a cost of 90 pounds for the larger capacity, you can pre-order now in certain countries; Europe looks to be the likely suspect here. Oddly enough you'll get 18 hours of music on the battery but only 2 of video. With the OLED screen, I would have expected more but perhaps this is just bad info....doesn't matter: it has the Commodore logo on it, so I want one! Any other Commodore / PET / Amiga fans out there?

Here, here is another fan, mainly an amiga fan. It's good to see commodore walking back to the light

I had a Commodore 128, Amiga 1000 & 2000. Amiga was my favorite computer of all time.

I'm only 16, but I absolutely LOVED the amiga A600 when I was younger, it's good to see they're bringing out other products again.

C64 first, then an Amiga 500 with sidecar hard drive (20 MB I think). Loved it, reliable through years of use.

It has often been said that Commodore had the best engineering and the worst management and marketing. They really were well ahead of their time.
