Palm Desktop 6.2 beta available for Vista

Logo_vistaworks Good news for Palm OS device owners who also run Microsoft Windows Vista: Palm has a beta of Palm Desktop 6.2 that supports Vista. With the beta you can now install apps to your Palm OS device from your PC, not to mention you can finally sync your PIM data from Outlook natively. There are some limitations and obviously  issues to be addressed before a final release, but if you've been using installation and sych workarounds due to a lack of Vista support, the beta might get you going. This beta doesn't support the LifeDrive, Palm Treo 600 or the Tungsten T5; any other recent Palm OS devices should be supported.

I can now remove the pins from my Palm voodoo doll. ;)

Hope all is well.
