Garmin c580, 680 GPS have a SPOT on them

MSN Direct, the service for the SPOT-enabled device market (yes there is one), is still alive and kicking. I spotted this announcement in my e-mail over the weekend:

As a SPOT watch owner, I think a GPS device is probably a better fit for the MSN Direct service; I simply don't wear a watch any more since there are clocks all around me or in just about every device I carry. If you grab the Garmin 680 or c580, you'll get a one-year free MSN Direct subscription included. Maybe it's time to give SPOT another look?
