Eleksen doubles up on the fabric keyboard

We’ve been talking about the Eleksen fabric keyboards for months and most of the keyboards we’ve discussed have been mere prototypes.  This combination UMPC case and keyboard seen in this video was easily the most interesting of the lot, until Eleksen produced the latest in the series of prototype fabric keyboards.  The USB double-sided keyboard has a QWERTY keyboard on one side and on the other a number pad, dual D-Pads, and other useful keys.  Like the versions that preceded this one the keyboard can be rolled up for easy transport and opened when needed.  I wonder when they’ll release a commercial version of these suckers?

A great idea for UMPC's. Should be able to roll one of these up and fit it into a UMPC case pouch. Otherwise you could leave it unfolded and slide it behind your UMPC in it's case (if you are still using the manufacturer cases that they provide you with a new umpc). I know the chunky part at the side (which has the wire attached) would stick out the side but it certainly looks possible considering its size.

Well Done Eleksen. My laptop is giving me grief atm so it might be time for me to invest in a UMPC. This would be one of the first accessories i buy as i can't stant the thought of parting with my beloved keyboard :D

I quite liked in one of the earlier review a fabric keyboard that WAS the UMPC case. Great idea, carrying your UMPC inside the keyboard. When they start selling it, I am buying!
