Adobe releases Beta 3 of Digital Editions

Adobe_labs_logoI'm thinking that in the long run, Adobe will emerge as the premiere eBook reading platform. I've been a long time eReader fan but I'm reading more books on a UMPC than on a Windows Mobile device these days and Adobe is looking good. The PDF file format is becoming near-universal as well, so from a content perspective, that's a bonus. While I internally debate the best eBook platform for me, you might want to check out Adobe's Digital Editions Beta 3 pointed out to me by way of TeleRead. Note: no Vista support yet (nor Mac OS X Leopard for that matter).
