Active digitizer works on the Panasonic Tablet PC with Ubuntu

Ubuntu_active_digitizer

My own trials and tribulations with Ubuntu on the touchscreen didn't work out, but Justin Clarke does have it working on his Panasonic Toughbook C-18 Tablet PC using the active digitizer. Justin shares the minor modification that lets him use the Wacom digitizer as shown by his sketch in GIMP. Granted, there's still the issue of no handwriting recognition, but I figure if we keep talking about this enough, some enterprising programmers will seize the Linux Tablet PC opportunity. ;)
