FranklinCovey releases PlanPlus 4.0 for Microsoft Outlook

PlanplusFranklinCovey's PlanPlus 4.0 release announcement reminds me of my old DayPlanner days, i.e.; pre-PDA. Folks that use the electronic version of the FranklinCovey planning approach will be happy to know that the newest version of the PlanPlus software is now available and has even more Project Planning functionality:

"The new Project Manager allows users to manage their projects with a user-friendly interface that is directly integrated with their FranklinCovey Daily Task List. Project Manager supports customizable columns to display additional information such as priority, flags, owner, category, due date and more on one screen. To simplify the reporting process, Project Manager can easily generate summary or detailed e-mail project reports. Additionally, users can delegate a task and see its progress or completion on their own list as progress changes are made by the individual to whom the task was delegated. Project Manager now supports templates and copy and paste functionality. "

PlanPlus 4.0 is supported on Windows 2000, XP and Tablet PC edition computers; there is an ink-based note-taking system for those that "think ink." Retail price for the new software is $99.95 for new licenses and $49.95 for upgrades from previous editions.

Do you use this Kevin?

Desz, I currently don't but my interest is peaked enough to try it if I can fit it in my schedule. I have trialed the FranklinCovey addins for Outlook in the past and found them to be very solid tools. However, I'm happy with straight Outlook and TEO for task management. For projects, I like MS Project and actually use Mind Manager for some efforts as well.

Last Sunday....I bought PlanPlus for Microsoft Outlook 5.0 at lowest price from FranklinCovey(http://www.couponalbum.com/coupons/franklincovey.htm) store....!
