Sprint to roll out EV-DO Rev A this year

Sprint has announced plans to roll out the next generation of EV-DO, Rev A, this year.  EV-DO Rev A promises DSL-like bandwidth and Sprint plans to market modems in PC Card, USB, and ExpressCard formats.  Earlier this year Verizon made a similar announcement detailing their upgrade plans, although their announcement indicated speeds 4 times faster than Sprint’s.  You say you have EV-DO?  That’s so old school now.
