Internal memo leaks news of Time Warner Houston dissolving- customers to be swtched to Comcast

The Consumerist has gotten hold of an internal memo to employees detailing an announcement to be made today that Time Warner will dissolve its Houston Cable Partnership.  Nothing is expected to happen until Q1 of 2007 but the memo implies that Time Warner Houston employees may find employment with Comcast, who apparently will retain the ownership of Time Warner’s Houston cable operations.  In one fell swoop Time Warner cable customers will become Comcast customers.  I am a Time Warner Houston customer and this really stinks.  No word yet how this will affect TW customers like me who currently enjoy RoadRunner high-speed internet through TW.

As a three year Comcast cable internet customer I can at say that in Detroit their service is reliable (no service problems at all) and with a high speed cable modem, it's incredibly fast.
