SC-MP001W: the iPod Shuffle knockoff they should call "Mini-Me"
The iPod Shuffle might not have much longer of a shelf live, but that won't stop others from applying the concept of a basic MP3 player. The SC-MP001W is a prime example and actually takes an interesting twist on the shuffle: you supply the memory. This smaller but still Shuffle-looking device is your barebones player, battery, USB 2.0 port, headphone jack and iPoddish-looking control: all in a size just bigger than the SD card that it takes. I think it's a great concept for someone looking to play tunes; no more no less. At $26 and 40mm square, you can carry this around all day in a pocket and virtually have as much music and memory capacity that you can carry on Secure Digital cards.

I should note mine came *without* the 2GB SD!
