Hello boys,

Just to correct some things about flash drives..
Flash is SUPER durable compared to normal hd and they DO NOT need power to keep information.

I swapped my amtek umpc hd to 6g flash and gain severall goog things:
-battery life is 10-20% better
-it runs really cool
-it is lighter
-in theory its faster but for me they feel the same..

For most, the issues with flash are capasity and price, but i don't need that capacity so ...

I normally use my umpc to surf etc. and when i use it for work, i connect to my work server with citrix. On the server i can use Office, outlook and all the other softwares i need, without installing them to my umpc...

JKK, what operating system did you install on the 6 GB flash drive? And how much free space do you have left over?

Actually i have many different sizes/os's for testing.
The one i am using is the one came with the device (xp tablet)
1g free with that..
