Tecra M7 Tablet PC- Core Duo and dedicated graphics for inking on the go

The next generation of the Toshiba M4 Tablet PC has appeared on the Toshiba EMEA web site and while they have no photos posted from the specs it seems to be a refresh of the M4.  The Tecra M7–117 will sport a Core Duo processor, up to 4 GB of memory, DVD double layer drive, WXGA+ 14.1” screen, NVIDIA graphics with 128 MB of VRAM, external monitor support up to 2048 x 1536, 3 hours battery life, and all the connections you could possibly want.  I wonder how long it will be before Eric Mack has one of these?

James, Eric Mack would happily consider one of these - an blog about it - provided that his upcoming experience with Toshiba Tech support goes well.

I'm now in one place and I've blocked the time to call Toshiba and begin my tablet repair adventure. I hope, contrary to what others write on my blog about Toshiba Tech support, this my experience wll be a non-event, with rapid turn-around and a happy Tablet customer. It's been almost a month since I've used my Tablet PC.
Eric

A few things stand out to me compared to the M4:

resolution : 1,440 x 900 (widescreen?) vs the 1,400 x 1050 that the M4 has

4 USB 2.0 ports (Left 1, Right 1, Rear 2) vs the two left, one rear of the M4,

b/g only wireless vs a/b/g on the M4.

* 2 * Window keys, and hopefully they'll be in the correct location this time. ;)
