Sony PSP firmware upgrade

System_updates271

Sony has released version 2.71 of the firmware for the PSP that adds the ability to download and play video content from their provider in Japan.  Updaters will find a new icon for P-TV on the interface that accesses the portable video feature.  This new version lets you download game demos directly to the MemoryStick so you can try out those new games on the fly before parting with your hard-earned cash, and those with Sony’s LocationFree devices will now find them displaying properly when used with the PSP.
