Tablet PC deals spring up this month
You might have seen some of these specials at various sites, but if you're in the market for a Tablet PC, here's an aggregation of deals. Many expire soon, so don't wait. Oh and happy inking at a discount!
- Lenovo celebrates their "one year anniversary": Save $200 on select ThinkPad X41 Tablets. A base tablet configuration is as low as $1,699. Check out the GottaBeMobile video review of the X41.
- Toshiba lets you customize an M400 and gives you a 10% instant rebate; a base Core Solo M400 hits lightens your wallet by $1,619. View an M400 video review from Long Zheng to see what you get.
- HP is offering $650 off on the venerable tc1100 for a limited time. $1,649 nets you a base hybrid Tablet PC. There might be just a few mentions of the tc1100 here.
- Not to be overlooked for the budget-conscious, Gateway's M280 widescreen convertible can be had for under a grand right now with a $100 instant rebate and a $100 mail-in rebate. The base M280 will cost you $979.99, which isn't a bad entry-point for a first Tablet PC. Read Tracy Hooten's review of the M280 to see if this widescreen wonder is worth the grand.

I bet part of Lenovo’s strategy for their “one year anniversary” discount might also have something to do with the new, much speculated on, X60 tablet coming soon - or not.
